Our Products and Capabilities
Commonlands offers high-performance cost-effective M12 lenses and related accessories. These are in use across the aerial robotics, autonomous mobile robotics, IoT, smart retail, factory automation, medical, and VR industries.
Our products are qualified, inspected, and stored in a class 10K (ISO 7) equivalent climate controlled environment. We perform inspection following ISO 2859-1 for all critical optical specification and mechanical dimensions. Examples of our equipment are lens parameter measurement machine, resolution projection tester, spectrometer, and automated lens + lens holder assembly machine.
We try to restock out of stock samples within 2-3 weeks. Lead-times for volume (1kpcs-100kpcs) vary by SKU; please contact us for details. The prices online are not indicative of volume (1kpc+) pricing.

We work with many camera ODMs around the world, from China and India to Germany and the US. We can work with any preferred camera module partner and likely know their team already.

The company relocated to California in 2020. The company's founder is an alumni of the University of Rochester's Institute of Optics, is part of the Zemax Consulting Partners Program, and worked for a top-3 automotive lens manufacturer.
The company's founder is a camera hardware geek who is involved in several robotics, imaging, and optics communities across the world. He founded Commonlands to help electrical, mechanical, and SW engineers succeed with new projects. He helps teams navigate the multitude of technical and supply chain issues that come with camera engineering.
