Bandpass Filter
Transmits a specific wavelength range while strongly attenuating wavelengths across its specified blocking range. Defined by center wavelength (CWL) and bandwidth (FWHM). Isolates LED or laser illumination from ambient light. It raises signal-to-noise ratio when the source sits inside the passband and the rejected background is what dominates; bandwidth, source spectrum, AOI cone, sensor QE, and exposure set how much you gain.
- Typical FWHM: 10-50nm
- Blocking: OD4+ (99.99%)
- Applications: Inspection, barcode reading
