200° Stereographic Fisheye M12 Lens for 1/3" to 1/2" Cameras
200°@5.8mm Fisheye Lens
The CIL273 is an automotive-grade M12 fisheye lens. The lens is IP69K and has stereographic projection to increase magnification off-axis, resulting in less "fisheye" effect and a more natural looking image.
Lens Features
Stereographic (Low) Distortion
Maximize the angular resolution of your camera with better than stereographic distortion.
>200° FoV
Create an ultra wide camera with 198° at 5.8mm image circle.
Tiny Form Factor
14.7mm TTL for small form factor camera applications.

Frequently asked questions
What sensors does the CIL273 support?
The CIL273 supports 1/3.2″ to 1/2″ sensors and resolves 3-5MP at 2.1μm pixel pitch.
What is the CIL273 image circle and field of view?
The CIL273 covers a 5.5mm image circle. Field of view changes with sensor size: 112 degrees at 3.0mm, 157 degrees at 4.5mm, and 198 degrees at 5.8mm image circle. Contact us for accurate FoV calculations because the standard calculator has a known error for stereographic lenses.
What does IP69K mean on the CIL273?
IP69K is higher than IP67. It means the lens can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, which is what you want in wash-down agriculture, automotive, and industrial environments.
Is a NIR or no-filter version of the CIL273 available?
No. The CIL273 is only available as CIL273-F2.0-M12A650 with a 650nm IRC filter, and there is no NIR or filterless version at this time.
Does the CIL273 ship same day from the US?
Yes. Orders placed before 12 PM PST ship same day from our San Diego warehouse. Contact us to confirm stock, since CIL273 availability can fluctuate.
Which cameras are mechanically compatible with the CIL273?
e-con Systems S-mount boards are compatible with a 5-7mm tall holder. Allied Vision Alvium, FLIR Blackfly S board, iDS uEye LE, and The Imaging Source M12 are not mechanically compatible without a custom adapter.
