What sensors work with the CIL061 6mm M12 lens?
The CIL061 covers 1/2.5 inch sensors up to 3MP at 3μm pixel pitch, including the ON Semiconductor AR0234 and Sony IMX290/IMX291. The 7.0mm image circle fully covers those formats.
How much distortion does the CIL061 have?
The CIL061 has -8% rectilinear distortion and -5% TV distortion. That level is usually acceptable for ADAS surround-view and general machine vision, but precision metrology work may still want software correction.
What is the difference between CIL061 M12A and M12B variants?
The M12A variant is the standard version with no ingress protection. The M12B variant adds IP69K sealing for automotive, agricultural, and washdown environments, and both variants use the same optics and accept optional 650nm IR cut filters.
Is the CIL061 suitable for automotive and ADAS applications?
Yes. The CIL061 is athermalized for -30°C to 75°C operation, which covers the full automotive temperature range.
