The CIL019 is a 1.8mm F/1.6 Wide Angle IR Corrected S-Mount with Low Distortion. The lens is suitable for up to 5MP 1/2.7" sensors such as the IMX662. The optical characteristics make this lens ideal for surveillance applications. The barrel is plastic and the lens cannot be ingress protected; filters must also be mounted within the lens holder.

What IR correction performance does the CIL019 provide?
It keeps focal shift under 7 microns MBFL from visible to 850nm NIR. Day/night cameras that switch between a 650nm cut filter and open NIR mode stay sharp without mechanical refocusing.
Why does the CIL019 spec show +48% F-theta if it is called low distortion?
F-theta distortion and TV distortion are different measurements. The +48% F-θ value describes how angular field position maps to image height, while the low-distortion claim refers to conventional TV distortion, which is comparatively low for a wide-angle lens at this focal length.
Can the CIL019 be used with external optical filters?
Yes, but the filter has to sit in the lens holder rather than inside the lens body. The M12P plastic barrel does not support internal filter installation.
Is the CIL019 M12P variant ingress protected?
No. The M12P variant has no ingress protection, so outdoor or humid deployments need an external housing or sealed enclosure.
What lens holder does the CIL019 require?
