The IMX577 is a Sony 1/2.3-inch rolling-shutter CMOS image sensor built on the Exmor R back-illuminated process, common in embedded camera modules and single-board-computer vision. It captures 4056x3040 (12.3 MP) at 60 fps with 1.55um pixels on a 7.86mm diagonal over a MIPI CSI-2 interface in color. The rectilinear formula FoV = 2 × arctan(dimension ÷ (2 × focal length)) is incorrect for many lenses as it doesn't include distortion.
